about us

Whilst COVID-19 has frustrated our plans, it has given us the chance to reassess how we work, and the range of services offered.  Being able to step back and think is something that can be overlooked in the rush for results. The last year has given us time and we finally moved to Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2020 and registered Castra Znanja as a Sarajevo-based company.

Having lived for many years away from our home countries, we have developed a clear understanding of the benefits and issues of working in different countries, cultures, and languages.  We are now delighted to now have established our base from which to draw upon this experience and the contacts we have gained.

Castra Znanja builds upon many years of international experience in both languages and business to offer a high-quality service to both individuals and businesses to support language development and business success.  With our maximum use of technology, we are truly global, whilst enjoying the benefits that being based in Sarajevo offer.

Our team

We draw upon a wealth of experts based in different countries to support the services we provide.  Consistency and quality are vital as well as allocating the right person to the task. Our team are well-known to us, and generally former colleagues in different disciplines.  We are strong proponents of the best teacher for the task, and not the old-thinking that only native speakers can teach their language.
